ASL Central Station monitoring facilities are available throughout the UK, and can include signalling by Redcare, Broadband, Digital and Dual technology (radio and telephone line) communicators. The receiving station can also remotely monitor cameras and provide audio feedback to warn suspects, or verify any activations.
ASL policy is to provide the best equipment available within the customer's budget without compromising on quality, ensuring a reliable system is installed or maintained. This prevents equipment failure associated with low cost budget equipment distributed and installed by others. We have preferred quality suppliers who provide cost-effective equipment with proven reliability. By specifying the equipment used, we ensure our engineers are fully conversant with its operation and have spares readily available.
ASL provides facilities to edit and prepare recorded images for evidential purposes, enabling the customer to comply with the Data Protection Act. All recorded formats can be converted to allow the police to remove and view any video or audio evidence. Equipment to ensure the correct recording and storage of videotape can be supplied and installed.
ASL is investing in the future by offering apprenticeships on a day release basis at local colleges, in conjunction with the Security Industry Training Organisation (S.I.T.O). This will ensure professionally trained and qualified engineers are available in the future.
